The Application does not require registration. We do not solicit, collect, or store any of the following:
- Names, residential addresses, or personal telephone numbers.
- Contact book entries, calendar events, or stored files.
- Precise or approximate physical GPS location.
- Biometric, microphone, or camera sensor inputs.
3. On-Device Storage Practices
The Application stores gameplay state on your device's sandboxed local storage utilizing the Android Room Database and Android Jetpack DataStore:
- Puzzle Records: Levels completed, stars unlocked, moves taken, and best completion times.
- Configuration Preferences: Sound effect toggles, haptic feedback settings, and theme selection.
- Local Streaks: Daily puzzle solve history and consecutive day counters.
This information remains on your local hardware and is never transmitted to private servers managed by us.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
The Application integrates official Google Play platform libraries to deliver standard mobile functionality:
A. Google Play Games Services
If you optionally choose to sign in to Google Play Games, Google securely handles your player identity to record achievements, cloud-save star counts, and manage leaderboards. Google's data handling is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
B. Google AdMob
The free version of the Application displays non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process non-sensitive device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or IP address) in compliance with Google Play Developer Program policies to prevent fraud and serve advertisements. Users may opt out of personalized ads via device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
C. Google Play In-App Billing
Purchases of the "Remove Ads" permanent upgrade are processed exclusively by Google Play In-App Billing. We never receive or store credit card numbers, banking details, or billing addresses.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Family Policy)
The Last Tile is designed for general audiences and contains no age-inappropriate material. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly purge such records.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because gameplay data is stored locally on your device, you have complete sovereignty over your data:
- Clearing Data: Navigate to Android Settings > Apps > The Last Tile > Storage > Clear Storage to instantly erase all local records.
- Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Application permanently removes all sandboxed database records from your device.
- Cloud Data: Google Play Games cloud saves may be cleared through the Google Play Games app settings on your device.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory adjustments. Revisions will be published on this URL with an updated effective date.
